Avelino “Samboy” Lim Jr Obituary-Death News; Philippine Basketball Player, Avelino “Samboy” Lim Jr Pases Away
Avelino Borromeo Lim Jr., commonly known as Samboy “The Skywalker” Lim, a Filipino professional basketball player who played for the Philippine Basketball Association, passed dead. Lim was also known by his nickname. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he was a part of the national team on a substantial number of occasions.
On December 23, 2023, Samboy Lim was unwell and passed away as a result of his illness. It was also revealed in the official announcement that he spent his final moments with his family in the Medical City healthcare facility.
During the month of November in 2014, Lim went into cardiac arrest at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City. He was then taken to the hospital in an emergency situation.
Following his loss of consciousness, he was transported to the hospital, where he was temporarily placed in a vegetative state. Following the event, Lim was transported back to his residence, where he has remained receiving treatment ever since.
His loved ones reported that during his final moments at the Medical City, he was carefully cared for by his siblings Lelen, Jamie, and Johannes, as well as his sister Malou, his nephews AP and Alby, and his wife Kates, and his closest friends, Allan Caidic and Robert Evangelista.
